Drive4Life is a program aimed at making teens, adults, and professional drivers safer. Eight U.S. teens die every day in motor vehicle-related accidents. For fleets, accidents, violations, injury, and lost time are incredibly expensive. Despite advances in automated driver assist technologies, driving is one of the most dangerous activities we engage in.

Car control skills can significantly reduce this risk. AVC is proud to offer one-day car control classes at a discounted rate. To provide additional savings, we are working with major insurance carriers who recognize the value of our training.

It's very effective drivers' training and a lot fun! All training is performed on snow/ice, gravel or wet pavement, depending on the venue and customer preferences. We will customize courses to meet your specific needs as well.

More about the program

How the clinic works …

• students use fleet or personal vehicles (we recommend two students/vehicle)
• By using your own vehicles you’ll understand how it handles at limits, what you can and
cannot do with it, and how its traction and electronic stability controls perform
• all instruction occurs at or under 30 mph in large open areas
• no vehicle has ever been damaged in training
• class size is limited to 16 vehicles and 32 students
• students must have valid drivers license, vehicles must be registered, inspected, and insured
• all participants must sign standard release of liability
• clinic will be conducted on gravel, snow/ice, or wet pavement
• training will be focused on skid control and accident avoidance
